How to Lighten the load of travelling on your Health

So my team has been selected to compete at the Synchronised Skating World Championships which will take place at the World Arena in Colorado Springs next year!

We got such a fright when we learnt that Cape Town is 9 hours ahead of Colorado Springs in time which can only empasasize one more challenge (other than the extremely high altitude compared to my home town):
J E T - L A G !!

As we do not want to let this bring us down as a team, I decided to do some research to prevent the Wrath on Jet Lag :)

Hopefully you can also benefit from a few useful tips:

- Do not skip sleeping to adjust to the new time.
- Avoid Caffeine or alcohol prior to your trip
- Adjust your bedtime at home a few hours closer to the time which is overseas a few days before your journey.
- Only sleep on the flight if it includes your usual bedtime
